Planting Hope: National Tree Week with Rewilding Roots
What if every child had the chance to plant a tree and shape the future? This National Tree Week , Rewilding Roots is delivering a series of tree planting events across Lancaster schools – helping pupils reconnect with nature and create habitats for wildlife right on their doorstep. Nature, Juice and making friends!
On September 19th, we hosted our first rural schools event, as part of a joint project with LESS CIC funded by the Westminster Foundation, at Hornby St Margaret's CofE Primary School, where Leck St Peter’s CofE Primary School and Quernmore VC CofE Primary School joined us for an afternoon of nature activities and apple pressing fun!
